Carbon steel flanges have different manufacturing ways, mainly four ways:
 
Casting, Forging, Plate Cutting, Plate Roll.  Different sizes, different pressure, different flange requirement, decide the way of manufacturing.
 
Forged carbon steel flange,  which has high requirement on mechanical properties,  require the forging process to reach the excellent mechanical properties.
 
A105 is a very popular raw material to manufacturing carbon steel flanges, unlike WCB material, A105 grade is suitable for the forged steel flanges.

Unlike WCB Material, A105 grade material is for the forged steel flanges.
